It is just so cool tht my little sis is back in the old country!! I remember this plaza, we had our photo taken here. We came with my family via scooter we were in a trolley that was tied to the back of it!! It was hot and summer and the light was really bright. The guy who took the photo had a am old camera set up on a tripod and you had to hold still for ages, invariable the photos were blurry...He had a cape over his head and a mini developing studio in there too. I was like 6 or 8. Whole life time ago... Ah!! Tish! Is it strange being there on your own!?

The strangest things for me aren't things like the plazas - I don't rememer those. The strange things are people from the old neighbourhood walking up to me asking if I'm Victors daughter, then asking how mum and dad and everyone is. I don't know these people but they recognise me from accross the street.

Sundays at Tia Juanita's place is gold. Great food, Marco and Tio Pedro re telling old embarrassing family stories, drinking wine with flour or coke. It's strange but it's gold!
